''Underworld: Next Generation'' is an upcoming American action horror film directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. It is the fifth installment in the ''Underworld'' film series and the sequel to 2012 film ''Underworld: Awakening'', with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene. The other main cast included Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Lara Pulver, and Charles Dance. Principal photography began on October 19, 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic. ''Underworld: Next Generation'' is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2016 by Screen Gems.
